The onset of romance is beautiful, but we tend to forget that it has a different side too, the heads to that of a tail in a coin, “ Heartbreaks”. Heartbreaks can cause emotions of self-destruction and many more known to the very world. These heartbreaks demoralize us and the very next step we take is, take relationships and love as fiction which has its existence only in fairy tales. We hurt ourselves unknowingly even without realizing that. We start looking into the so beautiful life we have with tinted shades. We act, perceive and dwell with situations differently and this is because of getting hurt from the men we actually thought were our prince.
1. DISBELIEVING EVERYONE
After the harsh winter (breakup) we don’t wanna see the sun anymore (potential prince). Spring (love) never seems to happen. We don’t trust any other guy who is interested in us and believes that he is not serious with us, because we have been left shattered after believing that the previous relationships were sort of a serious one.
2. WE ACCEPT BEING SHATTERED
Our feelings for our exes fail to readdress our hearts to a new being. We accept being shattered and left alone to mourn over our failure. The thought of breaking once again demoralizes us for further expeditions. Hence, staying alone and sad makes sense to us.

3. NEGATIVITY SETS IN
The potential prince seems more like a demon. Even if the guy seems perfect we try with our heart and soul to find something wrong in the guy to save our souls. Our failed relationships do not allow us to be happy for our friends with healthy relationships. Being cheated has actually made us paranoid.
4. CRUSHES OUT OF OUR REACH
We crush on men out of our league. It mainly happens because our hearts are satisfied by the thought of never getting broken by them. Celebrities and sportsmen are the main fields of interest because of their oh so perfect nature which we perceive on social media or sports ground or in movies etc.
5. GAME OF WRONGS
We play games with every other man interested in us. We are afraid of being left alone so even before they leave us we kick them out of our lives. We play the game of ignoring them cause somewhere inside our mind we have the fear of being ignored.
6. IT’s A FAIRY TALE
The idea of love seems absurd. We do not trust any meaningful relationship. “Love is a fiction happens only in movies and stories”. The idea of living live holding each other’s hands seems funny and impossible to us. We even take compliments to give to us as unreal and disgusting.

We fool ourselves around, flirting makes sense. We flirt with anyone and every one just as an amusement to our hearts. And getting hurt in the last thing we would want.
8. ROMCOMS AND LOVE STORIES
How many a time have we seen a guy meeting a girl, falling in love, fighting all evil in their way of love and then “happily leaving ever after”. These all seem shit and unrealistic after getting broken again and again. We do wanna believe but our bitter experiences don’t let us to do so.

10. A SECRET IN OUR SHATTERED HEARTS
Despite being hurt so many times we don’t leave dreaming and hoping that someday a person of worth will come to us and cure all our wounds.
